Community and mental health services
People living in the Chorley and South Ribble areas can access a range of community and mental health services.
These services can include anything from community nursing and district nursing to health visitors, and also therapies such as physiotherapy, podiatry (feet) and speech and language.
A range of wellbeing support is also provided, such as help to give up smoking, help to achieve a healthy lifestyle, and advice and treatment for people with mental health problems.
Community and mental health services may provide support or treatment in clinics in the local community, in health centres or GP practices or in your own home.
Many of these services are provided by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust. Visit the Lancashire Care Trust website to find out more about community and mental health services.
