Residents of Chorley and South Ribble are encouraged to have their say on a draft clinical policy for the reversal of sterilisation in men and women.
NHS Chorley and South Ribble Clinical Commissioning Group is working in partnership with the other seven CCGs in Lancashire and South Cumbria to review clinical policies across the area.
The eight CCGs across Lancashire and South Cumbria have all agreed that there is a need to review their policies to: ensure a consistent and fair approach across the region; update current policies in accordance with National Guidelines and best clinical practice and to make sure it is using its limited resources to maximum effect.
As part of this process, the policy for the reversal of sterilisation in males and females is now available for the public to feedback on.
Residents of Chorley and South Ribble are therefore invited to read the revised policy and provide their feedback and comments by completing the accompanying survey. Both the policy and the survey can be accessed by clicking here.
